Since 1976, Verasu Limited Partnership specializes in the business of importing and retailing innovative quality products for the household, from small to large electrical appliances, to cleaning accessories, home decor, kitchenware, tableware, glassware, house-ware, coffee and tea makers, wine cellars and a full line of popular BBQ products. Recently, Verasu launched its new line of home entertainment products with its Circuit Center offering Audio,VDO and telecommunication equipment, as well as top of the line digital cameras. With most products being imported from Europe, Verasu Limited Partnership has become the main importer and distributor of prestigious brands such as Leifheit, La Pavoni, Luminarc, Staub, Scanpan, and Karcher. Mr. Wera Sutesopon founded Verasu 30 years ago upon his return from the United States where he had acquired a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Illinois (Champaign & Urbana).
His aim was to respond to an increasing demand for sophisticated home appliances at a time when many influential Thai citizens were also returning home after a long stay in the Western world, thus bringing back with them new expectations from emerging lifestyle trends.
After an initial period of market survey, Verasu pioneered the import and retail of Microwave ovens in Thailand, though even the European markets remained hesitant. Soon, Mr. Sutesopon introduced major innovations both in his portfolio of products and in his marketing approach. With an emphasis on professional services, a 7 days a week delivery and service policy was implemented. He also introduced the idea in depth product knowledge for customers with the launch of full cooking demonstrations prior to purchase and the establishment of free cooking classes for all kitchen electrical appliances. The in-house creation of special recipes tailored to the Asian market further enhanced the suitability the equipment distributed. Finally, a unique ongoing communication strategy with customers enabled the early stage of today’s Customer Relations Management. In fact in 1976, Verasu was the first in Thailand to collect and computerize its customers database, with the objective of sending its colorful seasonal catalog to all his established customers. These main strategies of innovation, uniqueness of product line, and genuine customer relations were to be the foundations of Verasu's success, up until today.

The company has gained an excellent reputation on the local Thai and expatriate community, both individual and professional markets, through its careful selection of products and its consistent level of services both pre and post-sales. From a small shop located down town, it has grown to a medium size company employing over 300 staffs in 10 of the busiest locations of the city of Bangkok where its team of professional and knowledgeable customer relations officers lead every customer through elegant, yet homey showrooms.
