
Creamy Caramel
Ingredients
Bring in sugar, syrup, salt, butter, and 1/2 cup cream in a 2-quart mixing bowl. Microwave, covered, at High (600-700 Watts) for 7 minutes. Gradually stir in 1/4 cup cream and microwave, uncovered, at High for 5 minutes, or until a hard ball is formed (250oF.) when a small amount is dropped in cold water. Add nuts and vanilla essence, stir well. Pour into buttered foil-lined 4" x 4" pan. Let stand until firm. Remove and cut into 1" squares.
